Abstract

The single-crystal X-ray structure analysis is reported of CH 2(SnPh 2OMe) 2·MeOH. The molecule contains two pentacoordinated tin atoms, which are linked by one carbon and one oxygen atom to give a four-membered ring. In the crystal structure, the molecules are connected via hydrogen bridges giving rise to a one-dimensional polymer.
