Abstract
Bilateral pleural effusion progressing to diffuse pleural thickening was diagnosed as cryptogenic fibrosing pleuritis, a rare pleural disease.Cryptogenic fibrosing pleuritis was treated with high-dose corticosteroids.The patient showed stable disease at 6-year follow-up.
