Abstract
The baseline design of the SSC Collider Quadrupole Magnet (CQM) cryostat is complete. The cryostat is designed to minimize cost and maximize system reliability. Many components have already been procured. Material characterization and component tests for many of the parts have been completed or are ongoing. The first CQM cryostat will be assembled in September of 1993.
