Abstract

A simple design of one stage, low power cryogenic amplifier at 2.2–3GHz range is presented. The design was numerically simulated by freely available microwave library SuperMix. The amplifier constructed according to the numerically optimized design was measured in cryogen-free refrigerator. The measured noise temperature TN≈6K and gain G≈15.5dB are in good agreement with numerical simulations.
