Abstract

1.8–300 K helium and nitrogen compact cryostats and 20–400 K open-air coolers for X-ray, synchrotron and neutron measurements are presented. The devices are equipped with computer-driven temperature controllers which minimize helium and nitrogen consumption. The He3 refrigerator insert enables experiments above 0.3 K.
