Abstract

(Abstracted from Obstet Gynecol 2024;143:53–66 Between 30% and 40% of patients treated with neurotoxic chemotherapy, including taxanes and platinum drugs commonly used to treat gynecologic malignancies, experience peripheral neuropathy. Symptoms of these neuropathies include numbness, tingling, and pain in the hands and feet and often result in chemotherapy dose delay, reduction, or discontinuation along with a lower quality of life.
