Abstract

The cross-polarization over the projected aperture of dual parabolic cylindrical reflectors employed as a compact range is studied. It is found that the level of the cross-polar component of the aperture field depends on the geometry of the two reflectors, the feed orientation and the feed polarization. The effects of these parameters on the cross-polarization level of the compact range are investigated and some representative results axe presented.
