Abstract

By using structurally well-defined metal-oxo clusters as crosslinkable nanofillers, the authors develop a hybrid inorganic/organic crosslinked polymer electrolyte. With the favorable electrochemical and mechanical properties, as well as the enhanced lithium dendrite-suppressing capability, the metal-oxo cluster crosslinked polymer electrolyte can significantly improve the capacities, rate capabilities, and cycling stabilities of solid lithium metal batteries.
