Abstract
Bitter decorations and measurements of local magnetization under tilted-fields were performed in Bi 2Sr 2CaCu 2O 8+ y with various hole concentration controlled by doping of extra-oxygen or lead ions. Observations of vortex chains in the decorated images indicate the change of mass anisotropy parameter ( γ) from 800 to 180 upon doping. Although the minimum value is smaller than the critical anisotropy for crossing-lattices state predicted theoretically, vortex arrangement and also in-plane field dependence of vortex lattice melting and second magnetization peak fields suggests the relevance of the crossing-lattices state over the whole doping levels in this study.
