Abstract

Crosshole datasets, designed to represent 'pre-flood' and 'post-flood' stages in an EOR process, were acquired through a model interrogated at ultrasonic frequencies using Durharn University's physical modelling system (Share et al. 1985). These datasets have previously been processed by tomographic methods and by a frequency-domain wave-equation-based method to yield images of compressional-wave velocity, shear-wave velocity and absorption (Pratt & Goulty 1991, Leggett et al. 1993). Here we present reflectivity images obtained using an innovative processing sequence which we have developed for crosshole seismic data.
