Abstract

Networked motion control systems with multi-motor coordinated operation are widely used in industrial production. How to improve the synchronous control performance of the motors is one of hotspots for the networked motion control system. In order to meet the requirements of high synchronous control performance, this paper focuses on the synchronous control of dual-motor networked control systems. The structures and characteristics of multi-motor synchronous control systems are studied, and the cross-coupling synchronous control of dual-motor networked control system is discussed in detail. The feasibility and stability of the cross-coupling control system are verified theoretically. Using Matlab Truetime toolbox, the simulation model of dual-motor networked control system is established. Then the performance of speed tracking synchronous control is studied considering the motor start, load disturbance and influences of network factors. The results show that the cross-coupling control can make system get good performance of speed tracking synchronization. The results can lay foundation for the study of ring synchronization control of multi-motor networked control system.
