Abstract

Transition, Cohesion and Regional Policy in Central and Eastern Europe provides one of the most comprehensive and up-to-date overviews of regional development and policy emergence in the Central and East European countries published to date. It is timely against the background of rising political interest in regional issues within the CEECs and the spatial component of the EU enlargement debate, focusing on economic and social cohesion.
