Abstract

An analogue optical image filter has been characterised as a cross-differentiator operating in real time/space based on spatial arrangement of conventional photodiodes integrated with multiple quantum-well modulators. Results demonstrate its linearity and the optimum bias voltage as 9 V for a readout power of 175 nW.
