Abstract
The critical state stability in hard and composite superconductors has been studied under conditions of plastic yield of the material. There has been found the criterion of critical state stability with respect to the jointly developing magnetic flux jump and plastic strain jerk. Based on the obtained results, the authors have offered an interpretation of the training phenomenon in superconductors.
