Abstract

Vortices penetration into the periodically inhomogeneous Josephson junction is treated within the framework of the microscopic approach. The pinning centers are suggested to be situated closely enough to each other. It appears possible to obtain the exact magnetic flux profile and field dependence of the critical current in this case. Possible generalizations concerning higher-dimensional Josephson structures including the case of granular superconductors are discussed. The comparison with the dependencies used to describe experimental data is given.
