Abstract
Flow boiling experiments of CHF (critical heat flux) in a highly viscous pseudoplastic fluid are carried out. With the feature of high viscosity taken into account, a new correlation of CHF is developed. The mean deviation of experimental data from predictions is 17.7%. The correlation includes Pr L , L/D, Re L and D, L/D has a significant effect on q c , and it may represent the effect of entrance
