Abstract

The strong dependence of critical current density on the angle of tilt between grains of YBa 2Cu 3O 7−δ tilted about their common c-axes is readily explained using a model in which the superconducting ordering depends upon the existence of an underlying long-range or short-range antiferromagnetic order.
