Abstract
The magnetic behavior of amorphous Fe 9 0 - x Mn x Zr 1 0 (0≤x≤16) alloys has been investigated in the critical region from which we determined the Curie temperature (T c ) and critical exponents (γ, β, and δ). Detailed analysis suggests that the exponents are asymptotic and independent of the method of analysis in the actual critical region (ACR), while it strongly depends on the method of analysis outside the ACR. Asymptotic critical exponent values are very close to those predicted by a three-dimensional nearest-neighbor Heisenberg model. The obtained results provide strong experimental evidence of weak itinerant ferromagnetism.
