Abstract

The mode-coupling formalism, developed in the preceding paper, is applied to heat-conducting fluid systems near the gas-liquid critical point. Expressions for the nonequilibrium dressed thermal diffusitivity and kinematic viscosity are presented. The main findings are as follows: The dressed transport coefficients become anisotropic. For a wave vector parallel to the temperature gradient, the transport coefficients gain a new divergent contribution. For a wave vector perpendicular to the temperature gradient, the equilibrium form is retained.
