BACKGROUND: The loss of the breast affects body image and decreased self-esteem, so whenever possible, in the treatment of breast cancer, it is essential that mastologist maintain this condition, it can do for the conservative treatment techniques oncoplastics, and among them, reconstructing breasts with silicone implants, whose main purpose for these patients is to keep the breasts as close to natural. DEVELOPMENT: For breast reconstruction with subcutaneous placement of the implants, the choice is made by biodesign mammary implants with polyurethane foam, as this layer will be incorporated as an intrinsic capsule of the dermis and the sheath of the pectoralis major, which will involve the entire implants, preventing its fall in future minimize capsular contracture, the rotation and displacement of the implants.
