Abstract

The dependence between the thermodynamic characteristics of cement clinker production from natural raw material and the clinker quality indices is revealed. A generalized form of thermodynamic criteria for clinker production efficiency is proposed, which can take into account the types of raw material and clinker. The problem of optimizing the composition of the raw material mix using thermodynamic criteria is formulated. Thermodynamic analysis yields criteria for the enthalpy change of formation of substances from oxides and the entropy and exergy of cement raw material mixes in burning.
