Abstract

Abstract Crime scene photography is an important part of crime scene documentation. Quality crime scene photographs are only achieved by understanding the purpose of the photographs and through proper composition of the photographs. This article discusses the following: (i) basic considerations for crime scene photography; (ii) composition of crime scene photography, understanding the basic types of crime scene photographs; (iii) camera control; and (iv) video.
