Abstract

In the absence of eye witnesses, crime scene examination along with other corroborative evidence, and a meticulous autopsy, are of prime importance in solving the crime. In this paper, a suspected case of accidental drowning, which on further investigation and medicolegal autopsy, turned out to be a case of homicide, is presented. Further, considering the of the assailants, the importance of knowledge about common methods of concealment of crime may also be reiterated.
