Abstract
A procedure to be used in order to determine the constitutive equation able to describe creep of rock-like materials is given. Since it was found that the volume may also deform by creep, this constitutive equation is describing both volume creep and creep of the deviatoric strains. Experimental data are obtained for cement concrete.
