Abstract

Since the inception of e-commerce payment systems, there have always been those who look for novel ways to get unauthorized access to another person’s assets. Payment cards are easy to use because they only require sending a short number of characters to the bank in order to identify your account and authorize the transaction. Due to their simplicity, they are more exposed. In this article, we’ll talk about how to detect credit card fraud. Our vision is to develop a fraud detection system that uses machine learning techniques like decision trees, random forest and Support Vector Machine (SVM).
