Abstract
Creativity and personality are two very studied constructs throughout history for their involvement in the person's life development. The objective of this research is to study if there are differences in creativity and personality between people with mental disorder and people without mental disorder and the relationship between the variables in each group. Method: The sample (M=52.52, SD=13.00) is composed of 54 subjects from different municipalities of the northwest area of the Community of Madrid. The tests administered were the revised Eysenck personality questionnaire (EPQR) and the Crea test. Results: The analysis show that group of people with severe mental disorder has obtained significantly higher scores in neuroticism and psychoticism to the group of people without serious mental disorder; in the correlational analysis, no significant correlations are obtained. Conclusions: These results are relevant for implications for psychological intervention in people with mental disorders.
