Abstract

The industrial revolution 4.0 causes the need for changes not only in terms of technology or organization in the enterprises, but most of all requires new competences from employees. It also made possible to use new forms, tools and methods of teaching that can and should be used at different levels of education to make the learning process more attractive, flexible and easier for students. Therefore, individual universities began to create study curricula that allow to acquire new competences and take into account new teaching methods. The paper is a case study of the Polish curriculum Quality and Production Management (QPM), level 7 which was developed at Czestochowa University of Technology (CUT), taking into account the current and future competency requirements of Industry 4.0. The studies are aimed at improving competences and developing the skills necessary for effective work in many areas of managing a production enterprise. These studies will help to systematize knowledge in the field of creating a digital transformation strategy of an enterprise towards highly developed Industry 4.0, intelligent products, supply chains, production lines and modern work systems. Graduates will learn what the key models of industrial transformation are, learn about the most important technologies, develop their skills in managing people and change.
