Abstract

The paper provides a theoretical consideration of the “hotline” phenomenon, a region with an increased phonon energy density, which occurs when two beams cross in helium. An analysis of the results of observations and a theoretical consideration of the formation of a “hotline” are carried out. The results of calculations are also compared with experimental data on the dependence of the “hotline” parameters on the power of the initial beams, and the angle between the directions of their movement.
