Abstract

In this paper, we consider the nonlinear dynamics of an inhomogeneous (site-dependent) bilinear and biquadratic isotropic Heisenberg ferromagnetic spin chain in the classical continuum limit. We establish the generalized solutions to the inhomogeneous nonlinear Schrödinger equation through the sine–cosine function method with minimal algebra. Finally, we demonstrate the creation and annihilation of solitons under the influence of nonlinear inhomogeneities on the spin chain.
