Abstract
In this paper we propose a model for value creation from information technology resources and capabilities. We validate this framework with a meta-analytical meditational analysis, based on 49 studies published from 1990 to 2006 in academic journals. The resulting model can be considered as a step forward in an attempt to understand the underling mechanisms of for value creation from information technology resources and capabilities. Our theoretical discussion is put in context to the Resource-Based Theory.
