Abstract
The article presents methodological tools for creating a regional information platform for road transport. Using scientific methods, it is shown how the use of an information system will allow participating enterprises, integrated into the platform, based on information exchange, to determine their competitive rating, assess complex potential and identify strategic resources that provide key competencies in the road transport services market. Based on the information database, it is possible to track changes in the position of an enterprise in a competitive market environment in real time, which generally increases the efficiency of strategic planning and the effectiveness of transport enterprises in the region.
