Abstract
This paper presents research results of techniques of draping on mannequins to create forms for women’s clothing. In the advanced countries, this method is applied very strongly to patternmaking in the field of fashion design. In Vietnam, it is taught for subjects of costume design at the universities, colleges where fashion design and garment technology have been taught. Subjects for draping are blocks to make stitches in cloth with much kind of styles from basic styles to complex styles, such as dress, evening dress and wedding dress. Draping fabric has content 100% cotton using for draping on the mannequin, main fabrics are satin fabrics, drill fabric with many colors from light color to dark color. These fabrics have content spandex fiber and ironed by heat only. The results show process creates 3D blocks and steps draping for dress ??????/on manequin

Trong thiết kế trang phục thường sử dụng chủ yếu thiết kế theo phương pháp tính toán 2D [1, 2, 5, 11, 12] và phương pháp phủ mẫu 3D [10, 13, 14]. Các khối được trong nội dung bài báo này có dạng hình trái tim được tạo những nếp xếp, nếp gấp theo ý đồ người thiết kế để có được một trái tim hình khối rời bên ngoài và được may ghép vào phần thân áo cũng như một hoa hồng với những đường cong uốn lượn tạo được kiểu trang phục hình khối sống động. Một kiểu khối khác không phải may ghép vào mà được tạo nổi trực tiếp trên trang phục thông qua kỹ thuật tạo khối, rã mảnh và may chắp các mảnh lại với nhau như là các khối đa giác, tam giác (Hình 2.4). Chính sự đa dạng của các khối với những góc cạnh thể hiện sự mạnh mẽ hoặc các đường cong uốn lượn mềm mại sẽ được tạo hình trước rồi may ghép vào trang phục hoặc các khối được tạo liền trên trang phục là một tính mới của kỹ thuật tạo khối
