Abstract

Describes in outline a new management paradigm, within the context of strategic management which, it is believed, will become increasingly significant in the near future. Explains the six fundamental concepts which underlie the hypothetical approach of the article. Identifies eight major values offered to stakeholders through strategic management. Uses a model to explore the alignment or misalignment between a firm's environment and its eight major values.
