Abstract

Creating and sustaining a university-affiliated research center can provide significant value to both university faculty and industry participants. This paper reports on the Center for MIS Studies at the University of Oklahoma. Formal and informal interactions between faculty and industry participants are described focusing on management of research exchange between the two groups.
