Abstract

Introduction: The companies are facing continuous evolution and disruptions due to digitization in workplaces, thus it has become imperative for organizations to enable their human resources to keep pace with the rate of changes happening in the business world. It is essential for organizations to develop agility in the learning culture to leverage the fast-paced growth and get a competitive advantage. Organizations need to recruit employees who are not only skilled in their current domain but are also adaptable to changes and are willing to learn in the moment of need. With the advanced technology, data has come to play a major role for the HR as well. This has helped establish data-driven strategies. Since most HR operations have gone digital, HR gets instant access to the data and can run analysis on it to reach faster and effective conclusions. Analytics has resulted in greater impact of HR activities starting from talent acquisition through engagement to exit. Purpose: This paper studies the areas in which an HR needs to identify agile employee who is able to recognize the new industry or business trends and should be willing to learn and implement the new practices in their scope of work as and when needed. Methodology: Research is secondary and result will be arrived by reading international papers on Agile methodology. Results: It will empower employees to adapt the ever-changing business ecosystem; organizations must be equipped to provide them with relevant resources that give them an opportunity to apply this knowledge for the organizations competitive advantage to sustain in the competition.
