Abstract

At Marquette University, a number of units around campus had programs aimed at preventing crime. Student government, the recreation board and Greek life all had initiatives in place. But no one was talking to anyone else, said Jill Weisensel, M.S., a lieutenant with Marquette's Department of Public Safety. She explained how a bystander intervention program coordinated campus efforts, speaking at a session at the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators annual conference.
