Abstract
En sus escritos, los autores antillanos otorgan una gran importancia a los regionalismos, pero al mismo tiempo exploran con mucho interés y de una manera personal las posibilidades de expresión de la lengua creando nuevas palabras. Este artículo se propone analizar algunos neologismos encontrados en la novela Tambour-Babel (1996) del escritor antillano Ernest Pépin. La composición y la derivación son los procedimientos que se emplean más a menudo en la creación de estas lexías.
