Abstract

A 40 years old female presented in the neurosurgery outpatient department with the complaint of broadening of face, increase in the size of hands and feet for past 10 years, and headache with decreased vision in both eyes for the last 1 year. MRI brain with pituitary protocol showed pituitary macroadenoma. Serum growth hormone (GH) and insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) were raised. X-ray skull lateral view showed prognathism (protrusion of lower jaw) with malocclusion of teeth (misalignment of biting surfaces of the upper and lower teeth) and an increased gap between teeth.
