Abstract
Orofacial pain is a common reason for referral to the oral medicine clinic. Association between facial pain and other pain conditions is not uncommon, and hence a thorough history is essential to ensure correct diagnosis and management. Although migraine is a common neurologic disorder and is often accompanied by complex neurologic symptoms known as an aura, persistent visual symptoms are very rare.
