Abstract

JANET BARADELL is an advanced practice psychiatric clinical nurse specialist in private practice in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She is the consultant to Orange Cardiovascular Foundation, ANA's representative to the AMA's RUC CPT committee, and an active leader with legislative and reimbursement committees with the American Psychiatric Nurses Association. NANCY HANRAHAN is a doctoral fellow at Boston College School of Nursing specializing in mental health economics. She is president of Health Vision Consulting providing consultation to mental health systems. As treasurer on the Board of Directors for the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, she has participated in many legislative and leadership activities concerning economic issues of advanced practice nurses. She is the treasurer of a political campaign for a Maine senate seat.
