Abstract

As of January 25, 2020, the number of confirmed COVID19 people worldwide was 99,178,504 and the death toll was 2,129,138. Therefore, each country is preventing the spread of COVID19 through strong regulations such as blockade, prohibition of overseas travel, maintenance of social distance, wearing masks, and implementation of preventive rules. People in each country complain of depression and stress, and are suffering secondary mental health risks from COVID19 around the world. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the effect of COVID19 stress perception on nature-based outdoor activity decision-making by applying TPB. It was found that COVID19 stress had a significant effect on attitude but did not have a significant effect on outdoors activities intention. Additionally, it was found that attitude and perceived control had a significant effect on outdoor activity intention, but subjective norms did not have a significant effect.
