Abstract
Introducción: El protocolo RECOVERY para pacientes con COVID-19 puede tener como efecto adverso la hiperglucemia, un factor asociado a morbimortalidad, al igual que el antecedente de diabetes mellitus tipo 2. Objetivo: Describir el comportamiento glucémico en pacientes con antecedente de diabetes tipo 2 sometidos a protocolo RECOVERY durante su hospitalización por COVID-19. Metodología: Estudio retrospectivo, transversal de todos los pacientes con COVID-19 con antecedente de diabetes mellitus tipo 2 a quienes se le inició el protocolo RECOVERY y que fueron hospitalizados en la Clínica de la Universidad de la Sabana durante junio 2020 a junio 2022.
