Abstract

This study aims to assess the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic on the education system in Indonesia. The problem studied is the shift of society's overall culture to online activities in their respective homes, including the learning process that is carried out online/on-screen. This research examines the theory of online learning with a digital innovation approach. The method used is qualitative using secondary data analysis. The results show that the impact of online learning has changed the Indonesian education system which is not only limited to students, but also affects parents and teachers, who experience high levels of stress. In addition, students also experience decreased academic progress, loss of motivation to learn, delays in emotional development, and may become victims of verbal abuse. On the other hand, teachers face challenges in assessing students' development optimally.
