Abstract

COVID-19 is now a pandemic, as the WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus declared during a media briefing on Wednesday, 11 March, 2020.
 Bangladesh situation as on 27 March, 2020, total affected 44 out of which died 5. Some of them have returned from abroad and others had come in contact with those coming from abroad. So, community spread has already been started. 1st three cases detected on 8 March and 1st death declared on 18th March, 2020.

Introduction

Bangladesh situation as on 27 March, 2020, total affected 44 out of which died 5. Detection of the cases and isolation at this moment is the most important aspect of the control of the epidemic, though proper quarantine of the people coming from abroad should have been the most effective way to control the disease. As per DGHS from 7 to 21 March 1, 72,362 people entered Bangladesh from abroad through different routes. To find out all of them and made under quarantine is the most challenging job. Global situation: By the 26th March 2020 midnight 175 countries have been affected, total affected about 5 lacs and total death more than 22 thousands.
