Abstract

The university education comes to face a risk, as the school age population has been drastically decreased and the industry/society is also dramatically changed, during the COVID-19 pandemic. Universities are required to meet the educational satisfaction by providing differentiated educational services, where the competition among them is intensified, along with the decrease of the number of students entering universities and the open of global education market. In these days, the department of aviation tourism has been increasingly opened by universities and colleges, along with the growth of the aviation industry, but it is actually difficult to attract students. This study, therefore, attempts to understand the factors which can enhance the education service quality by IPA with the education service quality in the department of aviation tourism. The questionnaires for online were administered to university or college students major in aviation tourism. A total of 282 copies returned were statistically analyzed via data coding and data cleaning, by using SPSS v. 21.0. The findings show that the importance and satisfaction with the education service quality were highest for the teaching service, followed by the education service, and then, environmental and well-being service. The results of the analyses are thought to be used as the basic data for enhancing the education service quality and managing the quality of education.
