Abstract. The aim of the study. to determine the features of the course of COVID-19 in children with bronchial asthma and the frequency of the development of post-covid syndrome. Materials and methods. According to the results of the study, 23.3 % of children had COVID-19 without symptoms. 30 children with asthma who suffered from COVID-19 were included in the study. The diagnosis of COVID-19 was confirmed by a PCR test or a rapid Ag test for COVID-19. The age of the children was from 5 to 17 years, the average age was (10.31 ± 0.74) years. Results and their discussion. According to the results of the study, 23.3 % of children had COVID-19 without symptoms. In 76.7 % of children, the course of COVID-19 was mild and was manifested by cough in 66.6 %, fever in 56.6 %, and gastrointestinal symptoms in 16.7 % of children. The need to use short-acting β2 -agonists was noted in 10.0 % of patients. Post-covid syndrome was noted in 13.3 % of children. Conclusion. COVD-19 in children with asthma had a mild or asymptomatic course. None of the children had an exacerbation of asthma or the need for correction of the basic treatment, regardless of the severity of the course of the disease.
