Abstract

This study was conducted to help with job guidance for the department of aviation service, which nurtures aviation service professionals, in a situation where the workforce reduction and job instability in the aviation industry have become severe due to the prolonged Covid-19. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examine the effect of career barriers, which are variables related to employment, on career decision level and career preparation behavior. To achieve the purpose of the study, a survey was conducted for about two weeks from April 1 to April 14, 2022, targeting students in the department of aviation service.BR As a result of the study, the career barrier partially showed a negative influence relationship on the career decision level and partially showed a negative influence on the career preparation behavior. In other words, active interest and support are required to overcome the factors of future anxiety caused by the uncertainty of employment in the aviation sector in the era of COVID-19, and it suggests that we need to help students prepare for their careers by providing employment information at the departmental level. Therefore, based on the results of this study, it is necessary to establish an effective employment management system to reduce the career barrier factors of students and to provide close-to-student counseling.
