Abstract
The cover picture shows an a schematic diagram for the screening of an olefin metathesis ruthenium–carbene catalyst by means of mass spectrometry. The desired complex is synthesized in situ, transferred to the mass spectrometer without any prior purification, online-purified in terms of m/z, then reacted with an olefine, and finally analyzed.
