Abstract
The cover picture shows the concise synthesis of structurally well‐defined sialylated lactosamine grafted chitooligosaccharides (COS) from enzymatically hydrolyzed chitosan oligosaccharides employing an efficient enzymatic assembly strategy. The inhibition study of influenza virus‐induced cytopathy with synthetic sialylated COS indicated that the sialic acid linkage and chain length both contribute to the binding preference and inhibition potency.
