Abstract

Cover:Differently pre‐patinated zinc surfaces were exposed in both laboratory and field setups. Measurements of zinc runoff and characterisation of corrosion products show that long‐term field exposures can be simulated in the laboratory using consecutive rain events.More detailed information can be found in: Gunilla Herting, Ville Saarimaa, Golrokh Heydari, Aaretti Kaleva, Per‐Erik Sundell, Inger Odnevall, Simulated rain exposures can mimic long‐term metal runoff at atmospheric conditions – a case study on naturally and pre‐patinated zinc sheet, Materials and Corrosion 2022, 73, 1178.
